FRMD was founded by three young makers with a simple idea: to create artworks that genuinely mean something.
We take our cue from the places people remember. The mountains you keep coming back to, the lake you grew up beside, the coastline you never forget.
Through digital 3D design, careful manufacturing and hand assembly in Sweden, we make artworks where geography, memory and form meet. This is only the beginning of our journey.

Our product
An FRMD artwork is a physical interpretation of a real place.
We translate elevations, shapes and landscapes into three-dimensional motifs that are framed and become part of your home.
The result is more than an artwork. It is a place you recognise, a memory you can see, and a detail that makes the wall personal.
FRMD started as a side project between three friends with a shared interest in design, technology and the outdoors. Today we design, make and pack every artwork ourselves, here in Sweden.
Every artwork begins with a place, and is then shaped in several steps, by hand and with precision.
We build a digital 3D model where form, elevation and detail are adjusted until the motif feels exactly right.
The motif is printed with precision on our 3D printers, and the surface is worked to the right finish.
The motif is assembled by hand, framed and quality checked before it is sent to its new home.
FRMD started with a simple question: why is there so little art that reflects the places we love?
We began experimenting with 3D models, materials and frames to turn geography into something physical and personal.
After a great deal of testing and refinement, the first FRMD artworks took shape.
We sold our first products, developed new motifs and built the foundation of what FRMD is today.
Now we are taking the next step: personal artworks where you choose the place that becomes art.
