We are three guys in Stockholm who draw, print and frame every artwork ourselves. Your artwork is made to order and ships within 1-2 weeks. 30-day right of return.

The best-known silhouette in the Alps, in 3D.

Matterhorn in exact topography, with Zermatt and Cervinia in the same square - 12 km from Klein Matterhorn in the south to the village in the north, shaped from real terrain data. Up close you see the ridges running down towards the Zmutt valley and the Theodul Pass; from a distance you recognise the horn instantly.

Choose a frame in oak or black, and with or without a name plate. Without the plate, the whole square is terrain - no cut-out and no text.

A handmade frame, built by hand in Stockholm. The topography is 25 x 25 cm and the frame measures 28 x 28 cm on the outside. Everything ships fully assembled and ready to hang, and every artwork is made on demand with care at every step from 3D processing to finished surface.

For anyone who has skied Zermatt or Cervinia and wants the mountain at home on the wall. Our top pick as a gift for someone with the Alps in their heart.

Sustainability

Our artworks are made only from the best raw materials. Because every artwork is fully bespoke and made to order by the FRMD team, we can make sure the materials we use are sustainable. Steps we have taken towards sustainable production:

  • Local 3D production in Stockholm - everything is made here
  • We use a 3D printing filament made from corn starch that contributes to negative emissions, and a tree is planted for every spool
  • The artworks are made with real wood, only 4 km from us

Where on the map?

Every FRMD artwork is cut from an exact square of real terrain data. The map shows where that square sits, how large it is and where the summit falls. The square is the same on the artwork as it is on the map, metre for metre.
